Rogers & Bro. is one of the silver companies associated with the Rogers family of silversmiths. The company was originally founded as Rogers Brothers in 1847 by William, Asa Jr., and Simeon Rogers in Hartford, Connecticut. It later evolved into Rogers & Bro. when it merged with another company, Meriden Britannia Company, in 1862.

Rogers & Bro. specialized in producing silver-plated flatware, hollowware, and other silver items. They were well-known for their high-quality products and beautiful designs. Some of their most popular patterns include "Grape," "Adoration," "Remembrance," and "Eternally Yours," among others.

Like many other silver companies of that era, Rogers & Bro. marked their pieces with various hallmarks and stamps that identified the brand and pattern. The most common mark used by Rogers & Bro. was "Rogers & Bro. A1" or "1847 Rogers Bros. A1," indicating that the item was silver-plated and of the highest quality.

Rogers & Bro. became part of the International Silver Company in 1898, a major conglomerate that brought together several silver companies under one umbrella. The International Silver Company continued to produce silver-plated items under various brand names, including Rogers & Bro., until the mid-20th century.

Today, antique and vintage pieces from Rogers & Bro. are highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of vintage silverware. These pieces hold historical and artistic value, reflecting the craftsmanship and elegance of a bygone era.
