RARE HBC Hudson's Bay Company Wax Stamp Stamper Seal Sealer

This ultra rare HBC wax seal stamper measures 3 5/8" long. Working surface of the stamp measures 15/16" in diameter. Dates to sometime in the the 1800s. Has some wax residue on the handle as shown. The dark patina that the brass end has acquired has been left intact as proof of age. It was obtained from a dealer in Nova Scotia by a Manitoba based collector.  A premium Hudson's Bay Company item, the collector whose collection we acquired it from had paid $692.95 for this piece in 2017.  Premium HBC items have sky rocketed in values since then as you are likely aware. We are offering it for what we believe to be a reasonable sum, with room for somewhat of a dealer's markup. The original receipt from the collector's purchase in 2017 is included, and information on top portion will be unredacted. We have redacted the information for privacy purposes. No other provenance could be ascertained.  This is a jewel in any fur trade era HBC collection!
