"The Saskatchewan Dragoons" is a Primary Reserve regiment of the Canadian Armed Forces, specifically part of the Canadian Army's Land Force Western Area. The regiment is based in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and has a long and storied history dating back to the late 19th century. The Weyburn Regiment was within the Saskatchewan Dragoons.

The regiment traces its roots to the formation of the "95th Saskatchewan Rifles" in 1885, which later became "95th Regiment" and then "95th Saskatchewan Rifles" again. In 1908, it was reorganized and renamed as "95th Regiment, Saskatchewan Horse." In 1912, the unit was reclassified as "5th Regiment, Canadian Mounted Rifles." Finally, in 1920, it assumed its current name, "The Saskatchewan Dragoons."

The Saskatchewan Dragoons primarily serve as an infantry regiment but have a lineage that ties them to mounted cavalry units in their early history. Today, they fulfill various roles, including providing a trained and equipped force for combat, domestic operations, and assisting with emergency responses when required.
