Matched pair of Staffordshire cottage figurines.
Mid 19 century (circa 1850).
Measure 6 3/8" high x 4 3/4" wide.
Sold "as is", as they are not without damage, missing some pieces of the applied "shrubbery", do have some chips on the chimney tops, have crazing evident, and other chipping elsewhere. Please examine photos closely to your satisfaction before purchasing.
Have seen these called "pastille burners", though not entirely convinced they were used for that.
