This fuel can was meant for use with Canadian military trucks, and possibly jeeps, in WW2.
This one is early dated, being from 1941.

"As found", not messed with what-so-ever, and thus could use some cleaning; some dust/grime still present, as well as some paint smears, with the paint possibly being removable with careful use of methyl hydrate, perhaps?
Brass screw cap.
Measures about 12.5" to the top of the handle.
Dented on one edge corner, shown in photos.
