CNR Sleeping Car Berth light fixture.
Front has been painted gold, but appears to be cast with a front plate portion that has been nickel plated.
Glass shade has been broken and glue together. One screw/bolt has been replaced with a modern one. If items is to be shipped, the shade will be removed and packed separately from the fixure to prevent more damage to it.
Original push-button switch seems to be operable.
Measures 9" long.
Includes a small (3 1/2" x 6 1/4") 24 page, late 1930s period, Canadian Nartional Railways booklet picturing the very style fixture in the right top corner of a photograph of a sleeping berth.
