Canadian National Railways buttons Lot of 10 KING'S CROWN

Lot of 10 early plastic buttons measuring 7/8" diameter.

Made by Wm Scully Ltd of Montreal.

Damaged ones of these in the batch we got had a composition/cardboard interior....so I doubt these lasted terribly long on uniforms exposed to hot and cold weather.

Thinking they are WW2 era, made to replace those that were brass, which was needed for the war effort.

These are new/old stock from a uniform factory that had been in business since the 1870s, from which we obtained a massive number of buttons and other items.
